BRUNO BERNARD (FOUNDER)

Bruno BERNARD is an accomplished entrepreneur and innovator, with 24 years of experience in creating and managing international companies specializing in cybersecurity, digital trust, microelectronics and monetics.
Founder and president of SAS NEOWAVE since 2007, a leading French company specialized in strong authentication and secure transactions that has developed a portfolio of PKI and FIDO products. These products address the digital trust, cybersecurity and identity management markets.
He founded and directed SAS Innova Card (2002-2006), whose secure technology for payment terminals became a world reference before being acquired by the US group Maxim-Integrated.
He also co-founded SAS Neotion (2000-2002), which specialised in technological solutions for pay-TV. This company was incorporated in Alternext before being sold to the Russian group General Satelitte.
Previously he worked for STMicroelectronics et ASM International and was involved in several technological development projects in the field of the semiconductor industry.
An engineer graduated from the École Centrale de Marseille (1994), completed by training at the IAE Aix-en-Provence, he has filed 12 international patents, he is an active member of several professional associations (FIDO alliance, Hexatrust, ACN and Aktantis associations) and winner of many awards, including the Réseau Entreprendre.
He has worked and travelled on all continents, and is passionate about sport and innovation.

Our solutions for optimal security

Strong Windows authentication

To eliminate the vulnerabilities of password logins to Windows domains, strong authentication solutions are required. NEOWAVE offers products and services using cryptographic devices based on digital certificates (smart cards or USB tokens). This makes it possible to secure work sessions and access resources on the company network using a local directory with Windows server (ID 2.0 solutions) or via Azure Active Directory services (FIDO2 solutions).

Electronic signatures

In an increasingly digitalised world, the electronic signature has become an essential tool for improving the customer’s user experience with administrative procedures. This however raises concerns on security and data protection. The certificate-based signature is a solution to these security issues. NEOWAVE’s USB tokens and smart cards can store PKI certificates to allow secure electronic signatures.
They comply with the eiDAS (electronic IDentification, Authentication and trust Services) European regulations, international standards of PKI (Public Key Infrastructure) and RGS standards (General Security Referential). NEOWAVE products cover both the internal needs of enterprise PKI and identity management provided by external Certification Authorities.

Data encryption

Encryption is recommended whenever data confidentiality is required. NEOWAVE products can store encryption certificates securely and are compatible with most encryption software available on the market (Microsoft, Primx, Stormshield…).

VPN

The VPN or Virtual Private Network has become an essential element for any company whose employees or service providers work remotely (either travelling or from home). The manager or CIO must also manage the introduction of personal mobile devices by employees (BYOD – Bring Your Own Device) or the use of applications in remote desktop mode (RDS or Remote Desktop Services). Stronger user authentication with enterprise information systems has become essential. NEOWAVE solutions, USB tokens or smart cards, are accompanied by Middleware (CSP / KSP / PKCS # 11 interfaces) and host certificates (PKI) allowing strong authentication. Cryptoactive security

Cryptoactives (Bitcoin, Ethereum, ERC20 / Stable coins, tokenized assets on smart contracts, Central Bank Digital Currencies) use distributed architectures based on asymmetric cryptography which requires protecting private keys. NEOWAVE provides secure devices that meet this need. Online services (marketplaces, exchanges) manage cryptographic keys on behalf of their customers. Physical access control and time management

Dr. Joshua J. Tom: Joshua J. Tom received his Ph.D. degree in Computer Science with specialization in Cyber Security from Federal University of Technology, Akure, Nigeria in 2018. He also bagged M.Tech. degree in Computer Science from Federal University of Technology, Akure, Nigeria in 2012, and B.Sc. degree in Computer Science from University of Uyo, Uyo, Nigeria in 1997. He is currently a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Cyber Security, Faculty of Basic and Applied Sciences of Elizade University, Ilara-Mokin, Nigeria. His current research interests are information and cyber security, cryptography, artificial intelligence and machine learning, security of cyber-physical systems, Internet of Things and related technologies, software engineering and Computer Networks. Emmanuel Obongha Okoi: obtained both the National Diploma (2012) and the Higher National Diploma (2015) in Computer Science from Heritage Polytechnic, Eket. He holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Digital Computer Forensics from University of Memphis, USA (2019) and a Master of Science in Digital Computer Forensics Investigation from the same university in 2021. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Cryptocurrency/Blockchain Forensics Investigation at Saurashtra University, Rajkot, Gujarat, India.

A multi-certified cybersecurity expert, he started his career as a Cisco Network Administrator. He is a certified ethical hacker from India, and Koffi Anan ICT Centre of Excellence in Accra, Ghana respectively He is also a Certified Cybersecurity Analyst E C Council of USA, as well as a Certified Digital Computer Forensics Expert from Buckmark Institute of Technology,Nairobi, Kenya. He is multi- certified in the field of cybersecurity with result- driven performance and notable research.
